Your identity is never required. Submissions are reviewed by students, for students.

Privacy Policy

Last updated August 2026

YouthVoice is built so that sharing a concern never requires giving up your privacy. This page explains, plainly, what we collect and what we don't.

What we collect

If you submit anonymously, we store only what you type into the form: category, school, headline, details, and urgency. No name, email, device ID, or IP address is attached to that submission. If you choose to include your name or email, that information is visible only to the Youth Board — never to school staff or the public.

What we don't collect

We don't use tracking cookies, analytics pixels, or fingerprinting to link submissions back to a person or device. There's no account to create, so there's no login history tied to your identity.

Who can see a tip

Elected Youth Board members review submissions to triage and respond. A small, separate group of district Presidents only sees tips the board has specifically chosen to escalate. School staff and teachers do not have direct access to raw submissions.

Tracking IDs

The tracking ID you receive after submitting is a random code, not linked to any personal information. It exists solely so you can check on your tip's status later.

Questions

If anything here is unclear, reach out to the Youth Board through your school's student government advisor.
